Archery Mule Deer Hunt
So this is how we’re starting the morning off so snap deed, stop leave spring what the hell, what the hell, what the hell yeah! I love it. She should be get now we’re going to get back out and go look for deer and smoke behind a piece of grass yeah. So about one thing, that’s another to the top I’ma. Do it I’m headed to the top I’ma, prove it and baby girl. I like what you do and your body’s out of sight when you move in you look just like my type.
So let’s do you know I’ll treat you right, let me prove it and let it go all night, I’m sick of being nothing all right. I’m going to be something all fine with every breath. Trust me I’m abe the one at the top. You can’t touch me well guys we’re back to camp. We saw one good buck one nice buck this morning. He just wasn’t sticking around to. Let us try to put anything together on him: they’re skittish, they’re , skittish deer, it’s late in the hunt they’ve had a lot of pressure, we’re not done yet. We will get on one. We will. We will fling some arrows. I have no doubt just a matter of time. We’re going to get some breakfast cooked up here and kill some afternoon, hopefully put together another good plan and see some deer. I’ve got some ideas in mind for the night and yeah. These daily vlogs are going to suck. I apologize begin. You’re really good at cooking now seems to be the only thing we’ve been able to nail lately got ta love to hunt, that’s what I taught and not killing we’re going to make it kill them there.
We go do some brats and some eggs and toast HI guys. We think a table view right there, we’re starting the evening hot. We drive out here since we’re close, take a look off the edge. These are the parts of the canyon that I like, because there’s no Visitor Center there’s no there’s no tour buses and all that fun stuff. This is right up to the edge look off and enjoy it, and it’s usually the prettier views my opinion. So starting eating me huh we’re going to go slay a deer. I don’t sit that long, but it’s going to happen.
Morning, guys. Okay, here we go can’t really can’t pronounce. Last morning we got to do something I got to get it done. Yeah. The crunch time was getting old. You start killing early in the hunt, so you don’t have to put so much stress on myself here.
What’s up guys all right, so we had mechanical issues again this morning, right after we found a giant bug, we tried to get on him. He moved on us, so we were. We went back to getting the truck to from where we were Glosson to try to put a plan together and went jump in the truck and it wouldn’t start so. We took off on foot, I set Todd up and he’s going to he’s going to continue to hunt. I wouldn’t mess with it for a minute and seems like we got a fuel pump that just went out. I talked to Todd on the radio left him. There he’s going to he’s going to continue to hunt that buck and we were a long ways from camp, so I started walking. I ended up walking almost four and a half five miles before somebody would finally give me a ride. I’ve been passed by like 25 cars, I didn’t think I looked too intimidating or threatening or scroungy or any of that, but I mean I even made sure I took off my camel off and yeah.
Finally, a nice, a nice guy from Phoenix, gave me a ride. Back to camp, I got Todd’s truck here, I’m going to run back, see how he’s doing and well we either continued to hunt, but this afternoon we’re going to run down into town, buy a new fuel pump and get it put in. I just don’t know guys. It’s like come on, struggling struggling, it’s just part of a own and older truck, so the beauty of this truck is parts are cheap. I just I’m tired of things breaking so don’t jump in go back and see how things are going. Keep you guys informed? Let you know what’s going on how it’s going alright there. It is, that’s fuel thing pulled and clean all that up, so I can pull that sending unit out and pop the new one in and get some of the gas out of it. First, something kind of try to clean the tank out guys you have to be able to work on your own stuff, especially when you’re out in vfe or anywhere else. I could only imagine what this would cost if I had to pay a tow truck and a mechanic to do this. I mean how’s about 30 minutes to get that out sending unit I mean, hopefully max I mean doing it right and taking my time, fuel filter. The whole nine should only be about hour and a half job and then we’re hunting again. So when it rains pours and just like that, we’re running we are purring and we are covered in everything filthy. So we’re going to go back camp. We’re going to change. You cleaned up we’re going to start hunting for the evening hunt. We actually have about hour and a half two hours before we’re going to be ready, but it’ll take that long to clean everything up so man stuff, just pisses me off hi.
What’s up guys here, we go last evening of the hunt and we’re headin we’re heading out into some new country. Hopefully we can turn something up and stick it, especially after what we’ve gone through already today, we’ve paid our dues, damn it it’s time
