I Crash Hard! Arizona Archery Vlog# 10

I Crash Hard

HI guys we’re packing up to head up on the mountain here at Stark Laughlin and I’m loading up the ring gear. It’s supposed to it’s supposed to get funky. It’s been sprinkling a little bit on and off on the drive in this morning, but I don’t know what its going to do: yeah. We might just get a little bit when I get a lot. It’s hard to tell looking at the Doppler we’re kind of right on that edge of the storm so we’ll see.

My big concern is that the mountain gets a bunch of snow and a bunch of weather that way. It’Ll push help pushing some more stuff off down into this lower country. It should be a good morning. I’ve already got the boys taken off to get set up in their locations before the Sun comes up, so they can. Hopefully I can get them to cut off some of these box. Now I’m going to head up and get set up so I’ll see you at the top. I just a crap roof bad. I was carrying my spotting scope in one hand and my vitals in the other. I was just moving across this Ridge right here, so I’m checking another spot and my foot went down in a hole that I couldn’t see through the tall grass and I pretty much just face-planted because it holding my glass. I didn’t even have chance to put my hands down my chest: hit right there between the glass. My hands were pretty much straight back, [ Applause ]! You can see, I hope my rain jackets.

Okay, my buy no harness saved my ass. My knees are killing me. I hope my glass is all right. Man very rarely do I do that, but when I do it’s always a good one. Oh my hands are hurting my knuckles from being between the tripods in the ground. did Bill chip right there, man this one’s at least close, but still full of dirt. Oh, I hope it’s. Okay, like I said I hope my rain gear is alright. She also wearing ring care. I was just going to change spots and I was going to grab my my rain pants cuz. There’s a big big patches range, a sign on this way. Right now. I don’t feel like my knees, are bleeding, but they hurt oh yeah, we’re bleeding, not that that’s bad or anything ! I don’t care about bleeding, but yeah the old purple, one right there. Ah, no rips in the pants, though man. These guys are indestructible. Hopefully, the glass is the same way. I’m not worried about the glass because I know loophole will take care of it cuz. They got an awesome warranty, but I need it right now. Man that took the wind out of me. I laid on the ground and just Peter Griffith.

Alright guys I got ta go get my rain pants when we click this storms coming fast. I got the guy set up on both sides of me here. Well, have to evaluate and everything and getting everything cleaned up. The one I thought was going to be the worst, the spotter just because, where I came down it pretty much went straight into a big old rock. The spotter is fine, there’s nothing wrong with the spotter. It’s clean, it’s clear! It’s just a little dented and chipped and dirty it was dirty, but it’s gravy no worries the by nose. Well, the bundles are screwed dammit. I don’t know if you can see right in there. The objective is dented and this side is way out of focus. It’s like looking through and cross-eyed man that sucks that sucks so bad. This is all I was going to take with me to Mexico.

When I get back from here. I leave I’m home for two days and I leave for Mexico and I got no. I don’t have my 15 s, man that sucks that sucks bad. I hope you guys can see this ground. It’s super super rocky and where, when you get off this edge here, it gets really really thick thick, yellow grass, and you can’t see all the rocks. You pretty much stumble around a lot and my foot, my toe just will come down off a rock rolled off a rock and went right into a hole and then the other one kicked an even bigger rock. So I looked like I probably looked like a b-52 coming in for a landing, both tripods in each hand my hands were out. Luckily, my marsupial final harness was underneath my rangefinder or or my rain jacket, or I probably have some big old dents and scratches in my chest too. I don’t know how my face didn’t hit the ground, I’m just pretty much. My fingers are a little throbbing and achy. My knuckle area is from being holding on to them. Tripods don’t damages to my knees and that’s those are hell: those’ll hill. That’s not the major just sucks so good morning, guys we are setup Glasson. I got the boys in two different spots. We had a few deer in the very bottom heading towards quarry this morning and they hit the thick stuff right right. Is it starting at like KC, where he’s at there’s nothing moving and now see I’ve been glossed in for about past hour, I’m not picking anything up. Moving the rains coming in a little thicker a little heavier. I can see we got pretty much. You can see the rain coming down.

We got a storm coming, we’re going to sit up here a little longer and just keep glossing and hopefully not get too drenched when it rains it pours dammit, I’m so bummed, so bummed Brits Mojave got dropped on our last time and our last shed hunt just Wasn’t paying attention and picked a bunch of stuff up and they went flying so they’re pretty much in the same boat as these are. I just haven’t had time to send those back, so I guess now I’ll be sending both pairs back together as soon as they get home. Look at that guy’s tearing them up will rub an action going on demolished that little tree.

Alright. What’s going on guys, we we got back to the ranch house, we just had some lunch and I did a little cleanup got. The dishes done clean the stove up just kind of milling around keep him busy that storm blew in today. It’s been tough, we didn’t see, we saw maybe a handful of dose this morning. That was it had those boys set up and in places where we know the deer abandoned and kind of the routes that they’ve been taking, but they just they weren’t there. Today, more than likely they’re in the thick trees, kind of staying out of the wind, the wind’s blowing pretty hard today the weather’s dropped significantly we’ve had we’ve had rain, looks like the mountains are getting snow, which that’s what I want. That’s what I’m excited about.

Here’s the mountain getting a bunch of snow, hopefully it’ll push some new deer down in the area and with the rut going, we do have some hot dough’s in the area. It’s I kind of feel like it’s still tapering off, though it’s not full run, I’m hoping with what could push it off. The mountain might bring a little bit new blood into, but if not the two bucks that we have found our stud bucks, so we’re still going to go out of still going to keep cutting them. We’re still positive – and it’s just I mean we didn’t see him last night. We didn’t see them this morning. That’s that’s not uncommon at all, but you go sit down yet today’s get yesterday’s vlog. I did it so I can get it posted today and then we’re going to get loaded up and head out and hopefully find these deer and put some stalks on so I’ll. See you guys in a bit okay.

Here we go again. This is evening number evening number three, I’m down to just my spotter. Luckily Britt left her by nose in the rover, so I do have a bear by nose, but it’s not my 15th sucks, but I glossed a lot with my spotter anyway. So it’s not a big big deal I kind of like this morning. I don’t expect to see much tonight because the wind is so bad. I think everything’s going to pretty much hold up in the trees and in the deep canyons trying to get out of the wind, but, depending on what this weather does, I think it’s going to start dying off sometime tomorrow and, on top of it, the pressure. The pressure is going to be died off also from other people after tomorrow, we’ve had a few guys in here today, nobody’s been traipsing around in the middle of everything, but we’ve had guys close. I don’t know, maybe I’ll be wrong, maybe we’ll we’ll be able to turn something up and take advantage of this wind and put a spot in stock on and have a cover everything noise and scent. That would be awesome, see you guys in a bit guys Cory.

Just hit me up on the on the radio said: he’s got a buck on his into this plateau, claw step. Let’s see if we can get over there without falling down, go see what he’s got carrying all my stuff in my hands here. HI guys we’re going on stock he’s going to work down. We got an awesome wind right now for it and we got a lot of cover that he can make up a lot of ground really fast. So we’ll keep our fingers crossed and I’ll try to keep track of him and the deer to the spotter. And hopefully a bunch attack tonight Bojack could be wrong, get see there. They are feeding in the dick stuff.

Well, not sure what happened on that, but if we were pheasant hunting, it worked perfectly. You were running everywhere, wait for him to get back up here and we’ll find out if my phone doesn’t die by then my batteries, what 1 % so I’m going to cut. This short, I just wan na, let you guys know it didn’t work so we’re going to keep going moved on the hill here. We’re going to glass, some more country, see if we can find something now check it out guys. We literally just went inside, sat down and ate some KFC, and I look out the window and it’s snowing big ol dick wet flakes. That’s what we need. I hope that mountains getting covered awesome all right.

What’s up guys so dinners done through the KFC tonight. We’re going to kick back, relax and watch defies time to relax, and hopefully we got a nice dusting of snow outside so that hopefully that means we got a whole bunch of snow on the mountain and we’ll have deer moving in the warning. Maybe you can have new bucks brought into the area. That’s that’s the dream at least, but it was a good day. It turned out better this morning, sucked as you guys seen, I it hard I’m actually starting to feel it. In my wrist. My wrist is hurt and my elbow is hurting so, but it’s not oh well, I’m just really super bummed that my by nose are jacked up man that sucks. I feel I feel helpless without him. I don’t know what else to do. I’m luckily Brits were in the broker, but still it’s not my 15. I take my 15s everywhere. I don’t pack either binders, I pack 15s, but then take shower relax on the couch and watch some fights thanks for following along guys. I appreciate you please like subscribe. Comment and I’ll see you tomorrow,
